• What genre is this series?
  KOA is a blend of science fiction, adventure, and mystery. Think futuristic technology, gifted individuals, exploration, personal sacrifice, and a quiet but steady thread of light guiding the way. KOA: Dark Systems, however, carries a darker suspense element.

• Is there any inappropriate content?

  There is no sexual content, explicit language, or glorified darkness in the KOA series. Characters face real danger, loss, and difficult choices, but the stories remain rooted in courage, hope, and purpose.

• Who is the intended audience?

  The series is written for young adult readers, though many adults have enjoyed it as well. If you enjoy science fiction, exploration, mystery, and character-driven adventures, you’ll likely feel at home in the KOA Universe.

• Will there be more books in the series?Absolutely. Dark Systems may be the first published KOA novel, but it’s far from the beginning of the story. I’ve been building the KOA Universe for over eight years, and four additional books are already in various stages of completion. My goal is to release them over the coming months and years as the universe continues to grow. There are still new worlds to discover, mysteries to uncover, and adventures waiting beyond the frontier.

• Will readers who aren’t Christian enjoy this series?Yes. While the series is written from a Christian worldview, it is intended for all readers. The stories focus on exploration, sacrifice, purpose, and identity rather than preaching. Readers are invited to engage with the ideas through the characters and their journeys.

• Do readers need to start with Dark Systems?
  No. Dark Systems can be enjoyed as a standalone story. However, readers who continue into the broader KOA Universe will discover additional stories, characters, and connections that expand the world even further.
