Every story begins with a simple question: Is it worth telling?

When I started writing KOA: Dark Systems, my hope was to create a science fiction adventure that was exciting and thought-provoking.

Seeing it recognized with the 2026 Christlit Book Award is an incredible encouragement. I’m grateful to the Christlit Book Awards for this honor and to everyone who has supported this journey along the way.

Looking forward to sharing even more of the KOA Universe in the years ahead.

For the last five years, I’ve been quietly building a world of my own. A young adult science fiction universe that slowly took shape during nights, weekends, early mornings, between work projects, Harvard classes, ministry, and everything else life has thrown our way.

I’m excited to share that the very first published novel, KOA: Dark Systems, is now in its final phase of publishing and should be released within the next week.

The funny part? There are already more than five additional KOA novels sitting somewhere around 70% complete while the universe continues to grow. Apparently my ADHD prefers creating new things over finishing existing ones.
